The full story is they ran out food, they told him he could come back another time and they would bring extra food for him at that point. 🤷♀️if you don't have food left to give out you can't give anything. and even though they didn't have anything they still gave him a snack. and invited him back in another time and plan to have food for him.

I’m sorry, but if I cook too damn much food, I don’t mind feeding the kids in the neighborhood, especially if they’ve been outside all day playing I told him come on over make you a burger get you some ribs and mashed potatoes. I’ll get you some sweet tea and eat growing up the way I did. Everybody took care of everybody’s kids if they knew my mama wasn’t home. They would tell me to come over and they would feed me and my mom would do the same. That’s what they mean by. It takes a village to raise your kids.

I agree that people have lost their heart. I just left the Dollar Tree. I was checking out and the lady behind me had a little boy that was wanting candy and mom didn’t have money for that, my purse was open and I was pulling out my debit card. I rarely have any cash but I happened to have a couple of dollars and the money was speaking out to me to give it to the little boy. I pulled it out and gave it to his mom. Mom was so sweet. She told the little boy I gave it so he could choose some candy. Mother told the little boy to say thank you which he did with the most beautiful smile on his face. I may have mad his day but that beautiful smile he gave me made my day.

I will say that as someone with a husband that grills a lot for dinner, he cooks enough for the family. Now cookouts and get togethers there'd definitely be enough to share. They were very kind to him, and gave him something to leave with. He did ask about his dad and sister too. I do agree there was no need to post.

I would have givin him some food…but to assume that tge ppl rly did have some leftover is crazy …bcuz the way how this economy is with everything being sooooo expensive…ppl are prob starting to not buy n make as much as they used to to save money…so yeah ppl USUALLY always have leftovers after a cookout…but times have changed…if they rly did have it n jus didn’t give it to him it’s fu*ked up but maybe they were telling the truth 🤷♀️

Look, if a kid came to my house, and he asked for food. I'd bring him into my house, feed him, then ask him if he needed help. If his family was okay food wise. and if not I'd go to my deep freeze pull out a bunch of meat and walk him back home and give it to his family. That's what you do as a human.
