zipper or stretchy panels on the sides/back, do NOT make it lace up that would look incredibly tacky for the style of top that it is + probably would sit weird because of the two different types of fabrics

You could try adding an invisible zipper to the side, but since this doesn’t go over your head its tight asf so zipper could make it bulky so i would suggest to cut it from either one side or both and add strings kind of like corset to tighten it up once you put it on
