I'm sure these work, but if you mop your floor with vinegar the acetic acid will destroy the chemical trails the ants leave behind for others to follow.

Wrong!......because ants are smart & once they realize that the colony is dieing some ants will break from the colony and create satellite colonies! Don't believe me Google it!

My question is if you are able to rid of the colony after 2-3 days. Then what do you mean you’ve been using it for 16 years? Is there no way to permanently prevent ants in your home?

My ants must be union because they wouldn’t even go near that bait. We ended up using a granular type bait that they loved.
