i had two baby showers, followed the checklist for the baby registry, i mostly put items i need- LIKE 10 PEOPLE ACTUALLY BOUGHT FROM MY REGISTRY 😭😭 i was gifted mostly clothes like that wasn’t even on my registry. wasted my time putting together a registry

We’re doing no registry! We’re calling it Diapers & Dollars 😁 added our preferred diapers and wipes brands and then sizes and politely said monetary contributions would be most helpful.

I put a car seat, stroller, bassinet blankets, a bassinet, clothes, pacifiers, breastfeeding supplies, bottles, on mine and I got most of it at my baby shower. I had my son exactly 1wk after having my baby shower - that I almost didn’t have. I think even if you don’t make a registry, you’ll still get everything you need. If it’s causing too much stress, don’t do it, it’s not worth it.

No one bought anything off my registry 🙄 BUT at my baby shower I had a diaper and wipes raffle where whoever brought a pack of either was entered in a drawing for a little prize… literally didn’t have to buy diapers or wipes for like 6 months 👌

Keep everything in the packaging until you need it tbh!! Use the registry gifts from target/amazon/babylist to try bottles and pacifiers!!

We have so many clothes all the way to like 18 months. We’ve got a bunch of little stuff, toys, blankets, pacifiers, like random stuff. My registry is basically full of diapers and wipes and people still ask me, “what do you really want/need?” Like obvi diapers and wipes.
