@theplantrovert: Me: “I love peaceful backyard wildlife.” Backyard wildlife: tiny bunny funeral, red-tailed hawk lunch time visit and Mr. Wilson trying to introduce himself like this was a neighborhood meet and greet. (He loves everyone and everything, even if it is committing a bunny crime right in front of him 😆 I was outside trying to have a calm, relaxing garden afternoon when I spotted this gorgeous red-tailed hawk mid-meal at the end of the driveway. Then Wilson noticed and, naturally, decided he needed to make friends with an apex predator(obviously) . The hawk took off and left the poor little bunny behind. RIP little bun. Condolences to the family. But also… can we take a second for those feathers? Nature is beautiful, brutal, just like life haha . Beginner houseplant care inside. Backyard wildlife chaos outside.
