How does electron degeneracy pressure work? I only hear the standard “it’s because two fermions can’t occupy the same state” but then how does that produce a force and why is it a specific amount of force that can be overcome, like when a black hole is made.

Quantum tunneling actually gives us light. No joke. The temperature at the core of the Sun is not hot enough to fuse hydrogen without quantum tunneling. So, we wouldn’t exist without it
