I’ve had a spreadsheet for the last 20 years or so of all my expenses down to gas, food etc. You must track where your money is going. Problem is I had to come to terms with the fact that I can’t afford everything I want but I have everything I need.

Made myself a table for this method on canva for free, and I made it cute. I keep track of birthdays, holidays, accounts, pay dates, lay all of my bills due dates out and the rest is the tables for what bills I’m paying for each paycheck. All I have to do is plug in the numbers for my light, gas and water bills. I’m going on year two of doing it this way. 💕
