When I was in school, a group of boys tormented me. They called me names and said things like “she looks like a man” behind my back. The other names they called me I don’t feel comfortable saying here. I looked everything but a woman to them. One even went as far as to comment these horrible names on my social media, for all my friends and family to see. I later had a class with that boy. I was 14 years old, had just been told I look disgustingly unfeminine and no one would ever want me because of it. Humiliation and cruelty does something to your mind, especially a young one. So, the only choice I felt I had, was to start looking feminine out of spite. “I’ll show them just how pretty I can look”. Although im not proud of that moment, and regretful that’s why I started, I’m so incredibly happy that I did. It was desperate plea for help, to rebuild what had been lost, to gain control of who I was. I wouldn’t be the person I am today, for that and itself only, I’m grateful. For the multiple boys who took part in such disgusting behavior: I want you to forever think of this- When you get married, imagine a man saying that to your wife. When you may have a daughter, imagine that being what she hears. Your sister? Yes, the one you have now. She’d cry after being told something like that, and probably look to you for help and comfort. Not knowing she’d lay her head right on the shoulder of a boy just as guilty. #feminine#beauty#beautytips#feminineenergy#fantasy
