hell yeah! I work with labor unions in the South and it’s so great to see teachers talking about them. Our Southern teachers deserve these sorts of policies and regulations too. Not even to mention the pay difference……….

I’m finally at a school with a strong union and it’s incredibleeee. I’ve worked where the union was literally feeding admin info during negotiations so seeing the difference is amazing. So glad you got to talk with Weingarten!

when teachers at my school (Houston area ask about unions, I always tell them about AFT because it is the only one fighting at the state level to protect teachers AND public education. the others (who call themselves "associations") are more about providing a lawyer if you need one
