Guys she’s making linen linen is made of flax so it will probably be one of the comfiest dresses an would cost several hundred dollars if you bought it somewhere

This kind of labour makes you realise so much. The value we should have in clothes, and why in the past make do and mend and a nice dress was so significant the innovation (and the trade offs) of the industrial revolution, the work that we now take for granted for something to be produced instantly. So many people probably have never realised all the elements that go into it. Thank you for sharing this!
