my aunt's dog died a week ago, i literally loved that dog and i grew up with him. After his death none of my friends asked me how i was, i was on tears today and i didn't even went to school on friday, but no one seemed to notice. Then today my friend finally asked me if i was okay (just after i made it obious with a message) so i told them all and how i felt like people didn't noticed me even if i am the one who always notices when they feel bad and asks them if they're ok... and they started to justify themself and why people didn't asked, and tbh they had a point so i told them they were right and waited for them to ask how i feel about losing the dog, or if i still feel ignored but nothing hapended. 10 minutes later they texted me again changing the subject to dumb things, so now i am not only drowning in my problems, i also feel selfish because wanting people to ask me how i was just like i do with them, and i feel like i have no way to talk to anyone and seriously i can't stand this anymore

For the people saying ‘comments full of ten year olds’ depression can be at every age, could be caused by anything, we didnt wanted to have a depression. Yeah its true some people lie about depression to get attentions but thats not the cases, depression can be fatal if its ignored, even ‘ten years olds’ can take away their lives, not every person are strong, some people are fragile, im proud of fragile people that are still fighting, only one single ‘how are you’ text can help people a lot, if any of your friends or siblings are showing signs depression, check on them always, its not easy to fight against depression but im proud of people who are still fighting, you all can do this
