I planted avocado. It got to 15cm ish and I repotted it and unfortunately put it outside end of spring. The leaves came off so I cut it and nothing has happened for many weeks. the stalk hasnt died though. what can I do. Equally I put my aloe Vera outside and its unhappy.

Have you ever tried covering the top layer of soil with diatomaceous earth? It’s ugly but it always kills the gnats and prevents eggs from hatching!
