@sionnaskye: Ice Protest timeline at Delaney Hall Newark NJ May 22: Over 300 ICE detainees started a hunger strike to protest bad facility conditions. May 22: Supporters gathered outside the Delaney Hall jail to show solidarity with the strike. May 25: Governor Mikie Sherrill and U.S. Senator Andy Kim are denied entry to check on conditions but guards locked them out. May 26: Protests grew tense as police used pepper spray to clear crowds from blocking roads. May 28: “Video footage of the confrontations with ICE appeared to show federal agents pushing a protester into the path of an 18-wheeler truck, which then ran over the protester’s leg. The footage also showed agents pinning the protester to the ground before carrying him away.” https://jerseyvindicator.org/2026/05/28/delaney-hall-protests-continue-as-tensions-with-ice-escalate/

Although this post has gone viral I have not found credible evidence that an ICE agent intentionally pushed a protester under a moving semi-truck. I’ll keep looking.
