I like the idea of first layer cream cheese or maybe cream cheese and Mayo whipped together and instead of dill pickles, sweet bread and butter pickles or the hot spicy sweet pickles. Gotta give this a try.

My dad used to make one for Christmas, first layer cream cheese, second layer cocktail sauce, next layer a can of crab meat, top layer, fresh green onion, ritz crackers

I have never heard of this dip, but..it is GENIUS!! I never would have thought of using mayo as a base .. for any dip!! The possibilities are endless!! Of course only if you like mayo!!
