we truly are blessed to be able to experience such emotions from a constructed world. the nostalgia can be sickening, but it doesn't have to be. we can also choose to experience this beauty fully and be grateful for it, to allow ourselves to be inspired to see the beauty in our daily lives too. i'm a christian and i think that's one of the reasons why God allowed us to experience fictional stories as deeply as we do as human beings. they truly reflect some of the most beautiful things life has to offer and allow us to enjoy real life with the same intent
