Tracy | That AI Putzing Girl :
Here are the top 5 things worth repeating to Claude mid-conversation. Drop any of these in when the answers start drifting.
______
1. YOUR GOAL
Remind Claude what you are actually trying to accomplish. Long conversations drift fast. Just say: "Reminder, the goal of this session is [YOUR GOAL]."
2. YOUR CONSTRAINTS
Budget, word count, tone, audience, whatever limits matter. Claude forgets these first. Say: "Just a reminder, keep this under 300 words and written for beginners."
3. YOUR ROLE ASSIGNMENT
If you told Claude to act as a specific expert at the start, restate it. Say: "Remember, you are acting as a senior copywriter for this entire conversation."
4. YOUR QUALITY STANDARD
What does good look like to you? If you care about being concise, say it again. If you want specific examples instead of vague advice, say that again. Say: "Every answer should include a concrete example, not just theory."
5. WHAT TO AVOID
If Claude keeps doing something you already corrected, repeat the correction. Say: "Stop using bullet points. I asked for paragraphs."
______
WHEN TO USE THESE
Drop one of these in about every 10 messages, or whenever the answers start feeling generic. You can combine them too. Something like: "Reminder, the goal is X, keep it under 200 words, and write it for my audience of small business owners."
