if they wanna get rid of view bits they need to do something else lol, who would wanna cap the views? what if you get raided by a big creater? or something just pops? you wanna sit there with 20 viewers when you get raided with thousands? i dont understand the logic behind it AT ALL 😅

I would enjoy streaming again but the amount of graphic artists just coming in to sell their stuff as well as bots make it not enjoyable. The amount of times I have said I don’t do discord and they still go well just add me on discord

Does this count for people with a lot of lurkers? i know twitch cracked down on lurkers a lot, but I stream at around the same time as a lot of my friends, and we share a lot of viewers so people often tab me up, usually about 10-25 of my buddies that make their rounds around me and my friends, so they do talk, just often in bursts, but then the view count is like 7 when I know I got more than 7, buddies saying hey. its really disheartening. Does this mean twitch thinks I'm viewbotting? ;-;

how does this even work like does it just not show all the people watching or when stream hits the cap no one else can watch the stream?

I understand that it makes you feel happy and gives you money in your pocket with the higher view count. But as disingenuous it is, why even bother? Its not just wrong, it’s your reputation at stake.
