In nursing school we are taught to push air into the vial but during clinicals some of the nurses told us they never push air into the vials because the vial could explode… I’m confused. 😵💫

Adding air is contaminating the vial. Because unless your in a strict sterile environment.. microorganisms 🦠 are infused in the vial. Thus contaminating the vial 🧪

Nah after you tapped it and then started pushing the syringe and some med came out from the needle it pissdd me off 😭😭. Pull back before pushing up so u can suck any medication from the needle back into the syringe
