JAY :
Brandon left out a lot of important details. Alexis’s family took care of him for three years while he lived in our home. He was offered several job opportunities, including work in the oil field, but he refused because, in his own words, the oil field was “very dangerous.” He eventually took a job at Subway and was later fired after bringing a gun to work.
My daughter became tired of his lack of responsibility and unwillingness to change. She gave him four years of her life and continued to support him, but eventually she had enough. She gave him his ring back and ended the relationship.
When Alexis told Brandon that she wanted them to co-parent, he told her, “If you leave me, you’re going to destroy Zay’s life.” Alexis told him that she was not trying to destroy anyone’s life. Brandon then said, “If you leave me, I’m going to be homeless.”Alexis told him he could go stay with his mother, but he said his mother was homeless. We still allowed Brandon to stay in the apartment, and he later referred to staying there as a “punishment” because the apartment only had a window unit.
Alexis never cheated on Brandon. The truth is, she became tired of carrying the relationship and dealing with someone who did not want to take responsibility for his own life.
And regarding the shooting, he shot her with hollow-point bullets, targeting her head and upper body
