i tried packing cubes and it annoyed me too much having to open and close each bag. so now i marie kondo style my clothes in my luggage so i see everything in front of me and keep my underwear and stuff in 1 small cube instead

even if they don't help make extra space, they're SO good for organizing. whenever I'm too lazy to use them, I'm mad at myself for it.

Yall saying they don’t save space are using them wrong. You gotta shove as much as you physically can into that cube like if you’re not sitting on the cube and FIGHTING it to get it shut, you’re not doing it right. I can fill my whole suitcase with clothes, or use packing cubes and only fill one half

I'm an overpacker. vacuum bags helps give me so much extra space for souvenirs. take a travel steamer for your clothes though.

nobody talks about how using compression cubes as a plus size is different lol like my clothes are 3 times the size so i can literally fit so much less 😭

Not only do they help, but when you arrive at your travel destination, you can unpack the cubes and leave the clothes in the cubes without your clothes touching hotel/strangers furniture.

I used them on my current trip to Europe. They’re great for keeping things organized, but not sure they’re worth it otherwise.

I really think it depends on the size clothing. I'm an XXL and I can pack it flatter in my suitcase vs trying to squish it in a compression cube.

Compression cubes give you a modest gain, but not much. Volume is volume - I find I get just as much space saving when I roll up clothes as much as possible in my suitcase.

They do make space, but it also depends on what sizes you have & what you're packing them in. Sometimes the puzzle pieces don't fit. I like them for organization

I think compression cubes save pace and they can really help a ton with security! I went through Heathrow & got my carryon flagged for a bag check. Everyone around me had to repack their entire suitcase after the check but they just pushed on the compression cubes to make sure nothing hard was in them & sent me on my way! so much easier to close back up!

I like them cus they keep me organized. I keep socks and undies in one cube, tops in another, and bottoms in another. Compression cubes > regular packing cubes imo
