tell her to get a have a heart trap. indoor cats don't go far. cover the trap with towels and bait it with fish. this saved my indoor cats life

I was JUST talking to my roommate this morning about how some pets should have a path to citizenship 🤣 like it’s not going to be for everybody and it’s gonna be a difficult and expensive process, but I think people should be allowed to register pets as family members and get rights…

If somebody hurt my dog, I’m going to jail. On a different note I do dog boarding. And we’ve never had any incidents and we take good care of the animals, but we do a lot of senior dogs so I am afraid of coming home from work one day and finding a dog that passed away and having to share that with the owners is something I hope I ever have to do.

I have pet sat for cats probably 50 plus times … even when someone says their cat goes out side or stays in the yard, the cat NEVER goes outside while I’m watching it. During the stay it’s an indoor cat. I cannot understand how someone could let this happen while trusted to care for someone’s beloved pet.

I hired a dog sitter for a weekend for our elderly dogs, after we left she messaged me and said, “sometimes my husband helps me with clients while I’m at work, hope that’s not a problem!” I see this random man on my ring camera go into my house and stay there for 3 hours doing god knows what. I never met him, wasn’t even discussed before we were already states away. I was so mad 😡

I have followed you for a while and mentioned I’m a prosecutor—I’m actually specifically a felony animal cruelty prosecutor. it’s my whole caseload. the laws surrounding AC are so fucking bananas that i don’t even work off of the penal code, i have to get creative with the agriculture and markets law. there’s only one felony i can charge, regardless of how bad the cruelty is, and it’s the lowest level felony available in my state. this whole situation made me sick to my stomach, especially knowing that if i were prosecuting this case i would be looking at a misdemeanor criminal mischief at best under my state’s law. the laws are SO SO SO outdated and prosecuting AC cases is a legal minefield
