I sometimes use it to help with minior grammar problems. I know some people may disagree on this but AI is not evil, is it being misused by a lot of bad people? Yes, it is a tool it is not bad if you use it properly and responsibly.

Someone ran several paragraphs of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein through an AI detector and it said it was definitely AI. Yeah, apparently there was AI in 1818. Ignore people who are telling you what to do or not do. Just write.

I got excused of using AI and did exactly this; not write with ai and not give a fuck. Just write if you enjoy it and just ignore those who accuse you of doing it. "I'm scared of being accused of using AI." Why? If you aren't just don't give a fuck about the accusation?

Literally got scared of this because of how often it occurs on my fyp. Took a book from the 90s and hand typed a paragraph into a “AI detector,” and it said 80%. So no I think I’ll just not give a damn.

I have my drafts, I have my edited hard copies, for my first book I even have daily first draft updates if I really scroll back in some texts. fingers crossed that's all just normal good archival keeping, but it's there.
