@wifeofthegingerwood: A few years ago, a weekend like this would have felt completely different. And not because anything was wrong with the people around me or because I didn't want to be there, but simply because I was just tired. I was the kind of tired that sleep didn't fix. The kind of tired that makes everything feel harder than it should feel. I know so many women know exactly what I'm talking about. This weekend was camping, campfires and s’more’s, lake days, games, laughter, and just a whole lot of little moments that probably don't look like much to anyone else but I realized I wasn't just “attending” these moments anymore. I was actually present for them. I was paying attention to everything and living them while they were happening instead of spending the whole time trying to have enough energy to get through them. I think maybe that's the real win. Not a number I got to on the scale or a new clothing size. Just me getting my life back one ordinarily beautiful weekend at a time. ❤️ #camping #weightlossjouney
