I think we’ve just lost the plot when it comes to “trinekts”. It feels like the standard for these trinket boxes has become store bought, brand new toys. Imo any random interesting rock is closer to a “trinket” than an entire fidget toy

honestly, we probably shouldn't shame people for putting what they think are valuable trinkets in the box. it could have been a Kid, it could have been someone's lucky rock... and that may have been all they had to give. pretentious isn't a good look on anyone.
