I never had this deep level of thinking on such a macro level of the Bible. Thank you. I’m still struggling with praying to Mary before I’d convert to Orthodoxy. It seems like Orthodoxy do not accept parishioners not accepting all Orthodox theology. I do seek honest truth.

I always wondered on the road to Emmaus could the disciples not see that it was Jesus until He revealed Himself because He was in His glorified body?

A fine elucidation of thought brethren. I tend to disagree with the thought of the OT "Incompleteness." I use more of worsing to describe a set up of fulfillment in that the old testament is sort of a "concealed" vs the new testament "revealed." ipso facto we can say that of course the rituals for sin cleansing and other traditions and even laws were not to be "complete" per se, in the sense that it seems you mean, but, rather, to be temporary until the fullness of the law of God, and God, would be revealed, and "complete" in the personhood/godhood of Jesus.
If I simply misunderstood what you meant by "incomplete" then you can ignore/educate me as needed. Just thought I'd leave my two cents as well
