I had my bachelorette trip in Hawaii there was no pressure to attend. But for those who did attend we did something each person wanted to do. One person wanted to drive to north shore we did that, another person wanted to go to Costco to buy bulk candies for family we did that. I wanted to go to beach and do a boat ride. I paid 80% of the boat and we went to the beach. When you ask someone to go a trip even if it’s “for your bachelorette” you accomadate for others. That’s friendship.

got kicked out of a wedding two weeks before it happened, on my birthday weekend :) after living four hours away, hosting the bachelorette party, paying $800 for her boudoir photos, and doing everything i could to show up. apparently there was a “pattern” of behavior, but she “didn’t have time” to explain what that pattern actually was and didn’t want to discuss it. very bridezilla to expect everyone’s life to revolve around the wedding, take scheduling conflicts personally, and then end a friendship without even having a real conversation about what the problem was
