@jordynnsoutside: I’m never going back to Nevada 😂 When we arrived, he was drinking and on the phone with his AR pistol on a backpack. We walked away for a while to hope he would leave but he never did. We came back and enjoyed the springs for a bit and kept our shirt and sweatshirts on. He kept saying things like “just jump in and enjoy it” “you’re going to be cold when you get out make a fire and stay”. Really trying to persuade me to take off my clothes and gun and get in. He started coming closer to us and acting drunk and just kept saying we need to stay and jump in. We tried giving him the benefit of the doubt but there were too many red flags. We starting walking away slowly and not trying to be suspicious but then he says he’s leaving too and we don’t want him behind us with a gun and being drunk. There was only 1 road out and he was blocking it. We are able to make our way back to the springs without him behind us and that’s when he started following us back with the gun in his hand and flagged us like crazy, not purposely but not paying attention to what he’s doing. We create a good distance between us and hide behind bushes while calling 911. He super slowly walks away and keeps looking our way to find us on the mountain side. Once he’s out of sight we start trying to walk back to the springs and towards the road when we heard a gun shot our way. We run up the mountain hiding behind rocks and staying out of sight. About 15 mins later we heard another 2 shots back to back still hiding on the mountain. Eventually we make our way to the cops after they have him in their car. They ask us to identify the gun and mag in the bushes to see if that’s what he had. We said yes and had to identify him as well after writing a report. They tell us he picked up his casing after he shot trying to hide that he was shooting at us. Praise God we are safe and back with our kids 🫶🏻 in these situations it makes me even more thankful that I have a gun / some training with it.
