Even when I’m hungry on my Glp 1 I can calmly choose a healthy meal as opposed to becoming overwhelmed by my hunger where I frantically devour high calorie/high sugar foods.

I had weight loss surgery and I don't care what anyone says about it. Saved my life. Nearly 8 years in maintenance.

Is there any hope GLP1 will be less costly for those of us that can't afford $300-$500/ month. my insurance won't cover it unless I'm type 2. I know it will help so much.

I had no idea how broken my brain was until I started taking one of these. I am a completely different person. I never would have believed it unless I experienced it.

I am doing a presentation on this for my work colleagues (we’re an insurance company) I would give anything to have you speak as a guest to make this point. 😅

I have fibromyalgia. The Glp1 has helped me with inflammation in such a big way. I am now able to actively exercise everyday now. It has been a gift.😊💜

I have been on a GLP1 and no matter what, I have not lost weight the last 6 months. Mostly due to tyroid issues and PMOS. But have the GLP1 helped with managing those two even more with still having flare ups, OMG, yes! If you look at my before photo, it looks like I lost 100 pounds, not 50.

This is what I’ve been telling my family and friends. It’s not just weight loss, it’s my inflammation, no food noise. I have fibroids and endometriosis. I’ve spent my adult life hating my body until GLP1.

Thank you for using your platform to promote factual understanding of this chronic disease. Most people who’ve never experienced the constant struggle don’t understand the underlying causes.

Sure I lost a little weight low dose but way more benefits beyond that! Anyone who thinks it’s an easy way out is ignorant!

I am 52 now - diagnosed with PCOS (now PMOS) at 22. I am so annoyed at how much of a struggle being insulin resistance has been my life since puberty. I am privileged enough to get a GLP1 through a subscription service. Fingers crossed...

I love this, since being on it I feel like I now have a switch that is working again. It’s helped me with inflammation and I feel like I eat like a normal person now.

I lost weight by sheer will. But my diabetes still messes with me. My CKD still progresses. Then I went on glp1 because my progressing CKD precluded my diabetes medication (metformin). It has been a miracle for me. My diabetes is soooo manageable now. My CKD is halted. But you know what almost makes me cry thinking about, that I’m not constantly thinking about food. First time in decades I go through life not constantly obsessed about food.

There are so many people who truly need these medications, yet insurance still refuses to cover them. If you are wealthy, you can get them because you can afford to pay out of pocket. But if you are not independently wealthy, the cost makes them completely out of reach, and that is incredibly frustrating.
I have prediabetes, high cholesterol, sleep apnea, and obesity, yet I am still not covered. These medications could make a real difference for people’s health, but access should not depend on how much money someone has.

I have hashimoto and recently diagnosed as diabetic and have been put on mounjaro. I already have a low appetite because of hashimoto (I digest food very slowly) and haven't lost any weight. I was really hoping there's was more to it than just not eating because that won't help me at all

I wish I could go on it. Unfortunately to expensive and I know it's supposed to go down. But I need my insurance to help and they won't cause my number isn't high enough. I'm in Canada.

If the glp1 can help us to reverse insulin resistance. Then why can’t we come off of it and continue to diet and exercise without gaining the weight back? My concern is having to be on it long term.
