The Trump administration did something that sounds responsible? What’s the catch? What’s the grift?

why are they not requiring data centers to produce some of there own energy through solar or wind to help offset the power consumption?

Why can’t they use natural gas to power data centers

I'm not sure about other folk but the only posts of yours that have come across my FYP for the last 2 weeks or so are your shop item posts. TT doesn't mind you selling stuff, but speaking truth to combat mis and disinformation must be something they don't like.

Most of the ones I’ve seen have natural gas generators. Why? Because we don’t use as much natural gas in the summertime.

Atlleast on the few data centers I literally worked on. Their "back-up" generators are Natural Gas turbines, and multiple generators. The one I worked on in NW Abilene, TX had EIGHT gas turbines. And STILL had a 200 MW substation. And I think still had space to add more. I'm sure there are some with isolated diesel generators for specific operations. But most of the BEST diesel generator have a hard time supplying power to CRITICAL parts of hospitals, let alone a power drag like a data center. ESPECIALLY the size of many of these new ones.

Matt, in Monterey the Navy has a Data center with a backup generator that runs on diesel.

Texas has a rule that says we can put crypto data centers off the grid, but we have to pay them what they would’ve earned that day plus. Bullshit.

Does it *allow* removal, or does it *require* removal from the grid under stress? Because those are two very different things
