I agree that in the end, you’ll continue to bring treats and they will continue to not eat them. Even if deep down they think they’re just as good. It’s a point of contention for them

I'm not even a hobby baker, but I do like to make food for people. One year I was asked to bring pumpkin pies to Thanksgiving. Everyone who liked pumpkin had some, and liked it (or said they did). I thought it was the best I've ever made, cooked just right, great flavor and smooth consistency. Next year, only I ate them, so never made em again. Happened at work too, only a few people took a slice. I shrugged and said screw it, more for me. Like...I'd rather people be honest, that way I can change something, or just make something else instead of wasting my time.

I don't think OP is the AH at all because this family keeps insisting she brings things over. If they were like "Don't bother bringing anything, or just bring drinks or something, we like to eat K's food" and OP was still cooking and bringing things over trying to prove she could cook too, then she would be the AH. In this scenario she is only TA for herself, putting herself through this again and again. Op should let them have K's not-so-pretty deserts and focus the energy on People that appreciate it.
