broke up less than a month ago for both of our mental health, we werent healthy to each other, 2 weeks later i find her back in contact with her abusive ex instead. i still begged her to leave her too because she wouldnt be safe there either, i still begged her to update me on if she was alive a month from now, i still risked her hating me to warn her sister she was unsafe. i dont think ill ever stop caring.

I still think about my best friends from elementary school and get sad about not knowing anything about them now. I have a few friends that lasted. But even small meetings I remember.

Yes but I don’t think it’s because of just autism. But neurodivergent people are unable to read the social cues leading up to being ‘left behind’. It all feels very sudden and it can cause attachment issues. Does that make sense?

I got the stupid high empathy autism that makes me really understanding of people's behaviors and mindsets so Its hard for me to allow myself to get upset bc I feel like I'm being the bad guy and that my reaction is going to stall their growth bc at the end of the day I really do just want ppl to heal and learn like I have but everyone sucks so I gotta 💀

when I lose a friendship, it makes me feel the same way that someone DYING makes me feel. the mourning is MONTHS long and they have no idea I still love them with my full heart and will probably love them forever. Therapy is gunna be ROUGH 😳

I love everyone. I love the roommate who left without warning, I love the girls who bullied me in middle school, I love the stranger I met at a party 6 years ago. I think about them all, I remember the good and the bad and love them anyways. even if I havent spoken to them in years, if their names have faded from my mind, I think about them like a lost love.

I honestly have the opposite, most people im able to let go without a passing glance, often times just feeling numb about the situation. It's just those few that I have in my life that my mind hasn't quite let go of yet.
