Mrs Hubbard needs to be fired for this. I shed tears from watching this speech on live broadcast. We need to spread your word. ❤️

Mrs. Hubbard was my daughter’s principal for 9 years. I used to think so highly of her, not anymore. I’m proud of you for using your voice. 💕

I am a Clayton resident and I graduated in 2009, probably around the year today’s graduates are born. In high school, I won awards at the state level for my speech about affordable healthcare, which was a big topic back then. I remember how I felt when I did my speech and felt like it could have an impact on someone. It was a great feeling. I felt that same energy come back when I first saw this video! And hearing the applause you got from the audience here in JoCo was so refreshing. You express so much talent and passion through your words. May you always have this energy and remember how you felt when you did this! This was not only courageous but incredibly impactful and needed in a small town like Clayton. If you are comfortable sharing your cashapp, I as well as others from the Johnston County Liberal Moms group would love to send a little graduation cash your way. Thank you for making an impact!

I came from the CNN news video, and one of the things I wanted to say that I am proud to know that they’re a young people like myself who is choosing to stand up against a system that has been built to silence a lot of people. One of the things that I want to tell you about encouragement as a young person at the age of 21 who ran for office is to never never be silent.
