Ellie was so proud of herself 😂 backstory ::: We took Ellie to the doctor a couple weeks ago, and he said that she looked like she might start trying to crawl in the coming months. Since then, we have been paying close attention to Ellie’s tummy times to see if she was showing signs of wanting to crawl! She gets bored of tummy time very quickly, so we hadn’t seen much. When Ellie was doing her most recent tummy time with Kay, she started to lift her arms and hold up her body. Kay was excited and said that she wanted to come up with another plan to keep her motivated to try and crawl! ❤️ She got a toy and held it in front of her. Kay had been told by the pediatrician that her knee needed to start to be brought up if Ellie was wanting to crawl, also Ellie would start holding up her upper body with her arms. So when Kay saw Ellie start bringing her knee in, she got really excited. Ellie will have to learn how to bring in her knee and push with her toes, but that will come with time. She thought the last one was TASTY! 😳😅 backstory ::: Ellie’s favorite activity right now, whenever we are outside, is to hunt for bugs. Ever since we started our afternoon nature walks, Ellie loves to collect random things and bring them home. It started with rocks and leaves, but at some point she found a bug and she crunched it, and from then on, she wanted to find more bugs! I think she likes the noise it makes or something! 😅 She found one lying in her water table, and now that’s the first place she goes whenever we go outside, to see if more bugs have shown up! It’s so funny to me that she is so fearless when it comes to bugs! She just happily grabs every insect without fear and plays like the happy baby that she is! I decided while she was napping that I would wander around the outside of the house and find little bugs for her to play with when we did our outside time. I came inside after setting them up for Ellie, and found them playing in her play area! I told Kay that I had a surprise and we all went out to see. We have loved owning a home and have been learning all the things that goes into being a home owner. We have so much more space now and have many other benefits to moving, but one thing we lost was our favorite ramen place. We used to live right down the road from a place that makes amazing ramen. And since we’ve moved, we haven’t been able to go. When kayaking asked for a simple dinner, just a packet of ramen, I knew that I had to go back and get her favorite ramen.
