I don’t think Julie was receptive to Ty. She seemed angry about Ty bringing up how she treated him, after he copped to being deceptive. Maybe it’s just how I viewed the video. 🤷🏻♀️

Nah we can still hate Julie. Shes awful but we can also recognize that both Ty and Julie wronged each other and both characters have room to grow. Another layer maybe is Julie got married so early and I think emotionally got stuck at hs mean girl stage. So we don’t like her for that and that’s fair but Shawna is brilliant and showing us different layers and complexity to even character we see as villains at first.

Also, when they were talking about Jen being mean and how they got over it, Shawna drops “I don’t like having enemies.” She doesn’t like Julie, but she cares about Ty and, by extension, his relationship with Julie.

“But the words didn’t come to you” is Julie finally truly hearing him saying “things changed for me but I couldn’t tell you because I didn’t know how” Ty didn’t have the words available to him to tell her what was happening within himself. Someone said it well on the actual video: Not only is Shawna on Ty's side, she's on his TEAM. So, if he wants to save his marriage, meaning that Julie will also be a part of her ether still, though she doesn't like Julie, she will support them both.
