Okay in my opinion it was great. Yes it was confusing and I believe that’s the POINT. it’s more than just infinite rooms, it’s something beyond comprehension yet in human nature we still try. And this movie was the unfortunate story of a few people who did.

God forbid a 19 YEAR OLD MAKES HIS FIRST PROPER MOVIE. ive genuinely seen too many complaining about the plot but I feel like he made the plot fit the theme of the movie. unexplainable. He references this multiple times through Clark's interactions with his therapist and how he explained the backrooms as "asking a person who's never seen a dog to draw one". You aren't meant to understand the whole thing
