Its so so so rare to get a false negative for Trisomy 13 on a NIPT. Maybe chromosomal abnormalities, but it would be so rare to get a false negative. I'm sorry youre going through this.

I didn’t want to comment on any of your other posts as why would I want to put something in your head or give you even more worry then you already had but from what you have been saying this is exactly what I thought might be going on, my baby girl had Trisomy 13 severe congenital heart disease and and bowels on the outside we didn’t find out for sure it was Trisomy 13 with results of the amino coming back when I was already in labour at 37 weeks it’s heart breaking to go through such a traumatic pregnancy and experience as a whole, we had 17 precious hours with her before she grew her wings which I am forever greatful for. Be kind to yourself right now there are no words that will comfort you just feel all the feelings and process whatever way is best for you ❤️

Hi Danielle. I had an amniocentesis to test for 13 today, and my bub has a heart defect. I’m going through something very similar, 21 weeks. My heart is with you and your family. If you ever need to chat please let me know ❤️

I found out my daughter had that at 21 weeks it’s one of the hardest things I’ve faced but please be nice to yourself make the choice you need to and there is no right or wrong answer to this so but do what’s best for you and your family it’s the best advice I can give you

I had a medical termination at 24 weeks with my little boy due to similar conditions as your little girl, big hugs to you guys the next few weeks will be difficult, just know that we are here to support you! You and nath need to be strong for Betty and each other! Easier said than done, big hugs

ignore the noise from unwanted opinions. whatever choice you and your family decide to make is what is best for your family and unless someone else has been in the exact same situation as you, they shouldnt give an opinion. just please remember its you and your partner as a team together not against each other and dont push each other away during this difficult time

You do what you and your husband want to do. Not what the comments say because everyone’s lives and situations are different! They’re child maybe fine but your story could be different. You talk to you husband and you both decide and don’t let ANYONE tell you that you made the wrong decision if you chose to carry or terminate the pregnancy it’s your choice it’s your story and your life!
