@daniellejmitchell: Right now, she is safe inside of me but I feel like I’ve lost hope. We walked away with talks of meeting a lot of the markers for trisomy 13 (not compatible with life) and 9 abnormalities that they found.
My baby boy had trisomy 18. It’s so very difficult.

Its so so so rare to get a false negative for Trisomy 13 on a NIPT. Maybe chromosomal abnormalities, but it would be so rare to get a false negative. I'm sorry youre going through this.

Just remember, any decision you make is your (and naths) decision. The internet can and will be very opinionated and some people won't agree with whichever decision you make. You love baby girl, you love your family and you are making the best choice for your family and your health.

ignore the noise from unwanted opinions. whatever choice you and your family decide to make is what is best for your family and unless someone else has been in the exact same situation as you, they shouldnt give an opinion. just please remember its you and your partner as a team together not against each other and dont push each other away during this difficult time

I found out my daughter had that at 21 weeks it’s one of the hardest things I’ve faced but please be nice to yourself make the choice you need to and there is no right or wrong answer to this so but do what’s best for you and your family it’s the best advice I can give you

If the baby is compatible with life, you need to make sure you know what you’re getting into either way. Some DS kids have good health, some don’t. Either way, make sure you *make sure* your doctors give you all the info you need *for either option*. Not all of them do, stigma around disabled kids living still exists; and in balance some doctors may try to push you away from TFMR. Advocate so you get both options presented in a way that *gives you the facts and nothing else*

You do what you and your husband want to do. Not what the comments say because everyone’s lives and situations are different! They’re child maybe fine but your story could be different. You talk to you husband and you both decide and don’t let ANYONE tell you that you made the wrong decision if you chose to carry or terminate the pregnancy it’s your choice it’s your story and your life! Not anyone else’s! The people that really love you will support you regardless! I know I will 100% support you with your decision and I know your true followers will too! ♥️

There is no right or wrong way to do this. Carrying to term or TFMR both are safe decisions, and your decision alone. People will have opinions on either or. So don’t let pressure from others guide it. I’m so so sorry you’re going through this. 💔
