A home that can have her running around Is there anything else you would like to tell us about this animal? no 09/26/26 DAYCATION: How did your dog do in the car? Loved it! Which of the following activities did the dog enjoy? Going on a walk, Going on a run How did they interact with strangers? I take some time to warm up to new people . But Mima had a ferocious prey drive with squirrels; would try to go after them intensely even if they were far away. If they saw any other dogs, how did they react? We did not see many dogs, and had no nose-to-nose contact. But Mima had no reaction towards dogs being walked on the same trail. Just acknowledged them and wagged her tail. If they met any children, how did they react? We did not meet any children. Mima seemed generally friendly and easy around people we passed by. How did I walk on the leash? (Examples: excited/pulling/timid/awesome walker)She is very eager to go and has powerful stamina (even on a hot day). But she walked steadily and nicely in a straight line next to me or slightly ahead of me. She wanted to keep going forward (at walking speed). How were my manners and do I know any tricks? Learns Quickly, Knows sit Did they show any of the additional behaviors listed below? Calms down, Wants to sniff, Wants to run The best part of my Daycation was when.......As we drove, Mima perched on the area in the middle by the driver seat, and quietly laid there the entire drive right next to me with her paw on my leg, offering gentle kisses when we stopped at red lights, and enjoying having my arm around her. She is not a very clingy dog in general; she is independent and likes her space, but these were lovely bonding moments and she was just in heaven riding next to me. Any additional notes you would like to include about the dog? At first, she bites/tugs the leash and for a moment it can seem scary. But it is all playful and she does stop every time and start walking nicely. For a chunky dog, she has an amazing hiking/jogging stamina. She was getting lots of notices on the walk; she is a great combination of sweet/dainty and big/mighty dog. Playgroup Observation 06/14/26: People-orientated and social, seemed interested in playing with the others.
