Namtan and Film grinned, nudging each other as they took in the sheer entertainment of it all. "You look like a couple who's jealous over petty things," Film observed casually, resting her chin on her hand as she watched them. "We are not," Kao snapped immediately, her chin lifting in defiance. "Are you sure, Kao Supassara?" Film asked, raising an eyebrow with a playful smirk. "I am entirely certain," Kao insisted, crossing her arms tightly. "I was simply maintaining basic boundary etiquette for our table." Janeyeh, who had remained completely calm through the exchange, leaned back into the booth. She didn't scold Kao. Instead, a slow, breathtaking smile spread across her lips. Her eyes held a quiet, possessive warmth as she looked sideways at the fuming CEO. "You're very loud when you're jealous, Kao," Janeyeh whispered softly in her ear, her warm breath sending a shiver through Kao’s neck. "I am not jealous," Kao hissed under her breath, turning her head so fast their noses almost brushed. "He was being disrespectful." "He was flirting with me," Janeyeh corrected gently, her thumb caressing the back of Kao’s knuckles under the table. "And you hated it." "I don't care who flirts with you," Kao growled, though her hand didn't pull away from Janeyeh's grip. "Liar," Janeyeh murmured, her smile widening into something soft and intoxicating. "I like it when you protect what's yours." "I don't own you," Kao snapped defensively, her cheeks warming up despite her best efforts. "Not yet," Janeyeh whispered back, her dark eyes locking onto Kao's lips before drifting up to her eyes. "But you're getting closer every day." Across the table, Film leaned in toward Namtan, watching the silent, intense aura surrounding the two women. "Look at Jane," Film whispered quietly. "What about her?" Namtan asked, fanning herself from the second-hand tension. "Everyone thinks Kao is the terrifying one because she yells," Film said softly, watching how Janeyeh’s calm, possessive gaze never left Kao. "They don't realize Jane is the one who just locked the cage from the outside." Janeyeh paid no mind to their friends' whispers. She tilted her head closer to Kao, her tone shifting into a smooth, teasing murmur. "So, 'boundary etiquette'?" she whispered softly in her ear, her warm breath sending a fresh shiver down Kao’s neck. "You practically froze the room just because he asked for my number." "He was interrupting," Kao muttered, looking away, though her cheeks flushed a faint crimson. "And you were about to give it to him." "I wasn't," Janeyeh corrected gently. Under the table, her long fingers slid smoothly into Kao’s lap, wrapping her warm hand around Kao’s tense, clenching fist and gently uncurling her fingers until they were intertwined. "I was waiting to see how long it would take for you to speak up." "I don't play your little observation games, Janeyeh," Kao growled under her breath, though her fingers instinctively tightened around Janeyeh's grip. "You don't have to," Janeyeh murmured, her thumb caressing the back of Kao’s knuckles. "You react anyway." "You're infuriating," Kao whispered back, turning her head so fast their lips were merely inches apart. "And you're holding my hand," Janeyeh pointed out softly, her dark eyes glittering with quiet triumph. "So who's really winning here?" Kao opened her mouth to shoot back a sharp response, but the steady, unyielding warmth of Janeyeh's hand in hers kept her right where she was, utterly cornered, and entirely unable to let go. #janeeyeh #supassra_sp #kaojanejanekao #austory #aurecommendation
