I think this might be one of the nicest powder foundations I’ve tried in a long time. This is the Mrs Glam Glorious Skin Powder Foundation in shade O2 Light Gold, and the coverage has genuinely impressed me. You can apply it with the powder puff that comes inside, but personally I prefer using a foundation brush because it gives me more control and lets me build the coverage exactly where I need it. The finish is a beautiful silky matte. Not flat, not chalky, not heavy looking on mature skin. Just smooth, even coverage that still looks like skin. What I really like is that it’s buildable. You can keep it light and natural or layer it up for more coverage without it looking cakey. It also contains hyaluronic acid and vitamin E, so you’re getting skincare benefits alongside your makeup. If you’re unsure which shade to choose, one little trick is to pick up a lighter shade and a darker shade and mix them. Then when summer arrives and you’ve caught a bit of colour, you can simply add more of the darker shade rather than buying a whole new foundation. At around £12 with the current vouchers, it’s fantastic value for money and definitely earns a Rachel Really Recommends from me. I’ve linked it below for you.
