This happened to a girl at my school. Was autistic, went to Baltimore aquarium. Her mom did similar protocol with the school. Long story short, the school and teachers didn’t do their job. When it was time to leave and they did roll call someone said she was on the bus and the teacher did not to the required visual required on top of name to face. Later we learned it was because she “trusted” her students and she was tired. Her mom and two brothers had to drive down to pick her up. The family got an apology but they ended up suing and won a disclosed amount ($120k). This was my sisters best friends sister.

My nephew and high function autism and he went to SunSplash water park and the children can also play at the arcade. When the children had to go on the school bus, they did a head count and noticed my nephew was not there. The teachers ran to look for him, one teacher told a staff member, and they locked all the doors. Once they found him, they talked to him and they went on their way.

this is why I'm convinced you CANNOT trust schools, Ive been through so much issues with school and they didn't help me and from what I've heard from other people that schools don't actually mean what they say
