And one thing genuinely confused me. You introduced a Greek Cypriot simply as “Cypriot”, but when it came to a Turkish Cypriot you called them a “Turkish-speaking Cypriot”. Why not also say “Greek-speaking Cypriot” for the other person? Maybe there is a reason for that choice, but it comes across as if one group is being presented as the default “Cypriots” while the other is being presented as something different. I am genuinely curious about the reasoning behind that
