This has always been my issue with Chaol , just like Dorian said in qos- you can’t pick and choose what parts of her you love . He loved Lilian , not Celeana or Aelin and tried to almost punish her for who and what she is . Not fair . I’m just starting the tandem read . Hoping he’ll grow on me . No spoilers please

Ugh I never liked Chaol. He annoyed me from the very first time we meet him. I almost stopped reading when she got together with him because I had no interest in reading him as a love interest. Thank God she ditched the zero and got with a hero.

I definitely liked her with Dorain more than Chaol.. he was always judging her 🙄 like Dorian said "you cant pick and choose which parts of her to love" so glad her and Dorian are still such close friends and that she has Rowan 💕
