Your forehead doesn’t stop at your eyebrows. It continues all the way into your scalp. As the frontalis transitions into the galea (the broad connective tissue layer of the scalp) near the hairline, the tissues can become denser and less mobile over time. If that area doesn’t glide well over the underlying tissues, movement may feel restricted. That’s why I don’t just work on the forehead. I also focus on restoring glide between the scalp and the tissues underneath, helping the area move more freely. Healthy tissue mobility, hydration, and the natural lubricating properties of the extracellular matrix, including hyaluronic acid, all contribute to smoother movement. This is one of my favorite techniques because so many people overlook it. At first, you may notice the area feels stiff or difficult to move. That’s completely normal. With consistent, gentle practice, many people find the tissues become softer and glide more easily over time. ✨ Save this post so you don’t forget to include your scalp in your forehead routine. Sometimes the biggest difference comes from the area everyone skips.
