I think that there's a huge error in your reasoning. It assumes that being nice is what constitues being moral (good). When in reality, you and i could point out several cases of situations where individuals are clearly not nice yet are good. That's because goodness isn't "niceness", goodness is when what ought to be happens. Moral goodness is defined as what ought to be. And what ought to be is not necessarily kindness.
