Bro if you listen to better off by her (just one example) THATS her having a deeper voice, not this. As a vocalist I hear how she’s keeping her placement high in this song, forcing it to sound light and youthful which actually puts more strain on your vocal chords rather than if she were to relax more, because this isn’t really her natural singing voice. The reason she sounds the way she did back in 2009/10/very early into her career was because she sang that way back then having not been as vocally trained as she is now. Her singing voice was not supported well or sustainable and neither is this baby voice she’s been putting on since the last album
