chu totoro bread + the cutest song!! 🥹🫶 recipe: bread dough - 200g flour - 15g sugar - 3g dry yeast - 133g warmed water (or milk) - 13g room temp butter cookie dough - 50g flour - 20g room temp butter - 15g sugar - 10g egg 1. add sugar and yeast to warmed water or milk (110°F-115°F). once activated, add yeast mixture to 1 cup of flour and mix 2. when the bread dough is mixed through, add in butter and knead into dough until elastic and smooth 3. once the bread dough is kneaded, form into a ball and let rise in a greased bowl, covered until it doubles in size 4. create cookie dough by mixing butter and sugar. beat in egg, then add flour until the dough is combined. place cookie dough in fridge 5. when the bread dough has risen, punch out the gas and form into totoro shapes 6. add cookie dough on top, and let the bread dough rise, covered, until risen by 1.5 7. preheat oven to 375°F, then lower the temperature to 350°F and bake the bread for 10 minutes. lower the temperature to 300°F and bake for an additional 8 minutes this was my first time making bread in two years! hopefully i can bake more this summer 😆 #totoro #studioghibli #bread #baking #Recipe #breadtok #foryou
