Get water sample kits, take your sample send it in ASAP document everything. I suggest doing both state and private lab tests and do full testing. I'd use state testing just to see if it matches private lab testing.(remember how the state handled flint)

If you have water issues like this, I urge you to take two samples. Label them with the date and which faucet it came from and take photos of them the labels. Then take one of those samples to a pool and spa store and have them test the water to tell you what chemicals and impurities are in your sample. Then keep those test results with your other sample and file a complaint with the county.
