@fisherzhangs_in_china: Living in a smaller, less developed Chinese city means we—well, mostly me—still get ridiculously overexcited by the futuristic side of places like Beijing. This giant escalator in the mall genuinely felt like something out of a sci-fi movie, and the humanoid robots took it to another level entirely. Heading back to our more down-to-earth little corner of Northeast China is definitely going to feel a bit strange for the next few days.
