As a player for 6+ years, playing on both IPad and Phone this is quite normal on iPad if im being honest. Im non gyro and with high TPP aim sensitivity its easily to "flick" onto players. He's new and is still adjusting to the recoil, y'all are over thinking this too much. And I think he's even using default sens 😂, just wait till he gets feitz sens.

I'm a pubg player, but i know there's a option on settings that you can enable called "aim assist" but i don't use it because on long range and when you spray at like at 2-3 enemies close to each other you can't focus on 1 enemy
