Yes, learned that the hard way. The disrespect, the manipulation, the cheating. Loving them harder will only make them think that even if they do something worst, you won’t leave them. It was hard for me to let go, the days, months, years that i put into the relationship. My mind was tellibg me to leave but my heart said to stay. I stayed for a while but things got worst and i needed to leave. I lost myself and i needed to find that again. Now? I’ve finally been prioritizing myself. Finally, I can sleep peacefully at night without any anxiety attacks, no more overthinking. Now i’m glowing and the best part is i finally got my genuine smile back.
